How it started...
When we say we are a movement, not an organization, we mean it. Spark Events were not the brain-child of our head office staff. They are the product of our local partners’ initiative.
What started in the Middle East as a way to use Spark magazines to teach children about Jesus, grew into an organized curriculum that lit an evangelistic spark in the next generation. After the success these groups had in the Middle East, they spread to Latin America, and now...they’re coming to North America!

Building on the momentum from Ignite events, Spark groups provide a platform for sharing the gospel and mobilization young people.
This 12-course curriculum introduces kids to key aspects of the gospel all while unleashing young believers to invite their peers, helping to expand the church's outreach within the community.
As students progress through the course they can request Spark magazines from their leaders to help them share the gospel with their friends.
Every session includes a gospel presentation and concludes with a prayer for opportunities to invite new friends to the next session—because inviting friends is their mission! Upon completing the Spark Group, participants will receive a full Bible of their very own!
