Kenya 2024
Sometimes on a GO Trip, the participants are impacted by the gospel just as much as those hearing it for the first time. That was the case for Mitch, the videographer for the trip. Most of the time, he has to separate himself from the situation to get the footage he needs. But something was different in Kenya.
The team met David, a young boy with polio. For Mitch, the gospel conversation the team had with him was a prime moment to capture. But as they prayed for the boy, Mitch was compelled to put down his camera and join in the prayer.
“It’s easy to go around and talk about the Good News. And then you see people who are going through something like this and see how sick David is.”
It was a tough but beautiful moment which brought Mitch and the others to tears.
